Hi

I am currently studying my heating and ventilation level 3. We have our GOLA in a couple of weeks time. One of the lads on the course took the GOLA exam this week and said that there is very little in the exam which we have covered on the course. I was under the impression that the problems with the GOLA were with level 2 but it looks like level 3 is also effected. Has anyone spoken to City & Guilds about this yet and if so, what's their response?

Can i just add to this post as i am nearly completed on my level 2 technical certificate. the reason why the questions are not what you revised is because
1. the city and guilds do not give these questions out, so the Heinemanns book that you use to learn from is only what they have as information and not what city and guilds have.
2. the heinemanns books are being replaced this year 2010 and so they should be updated to include a lot more information, i think they are coming out july 2010

because some bloke somewhere decided to change things the students suffer, including all these changes to the names and the units of the NVQ's
